Today’s drive is most thrilling through the scenic and rugged terrains. Begin your journey from Bhaderwah, the road will gradually ascend towards Jai Pass, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Jai Pass is located at an elevation of around 13,000 feet and provides a gateway to the remote regions of Kishtwar- home to several remote villages and ancient temples, offering a glimpse into the traditional way of life in the Himalayas. From Kishtwar, your journey continues towards Sinthan Pass, another high mountain pass located at an elevation of around 12,500 feet. The road to Sinthan Pass is known for its steep inclines, hairpin bends, and breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks. After crossing Sinthan Pass, you’ll descend into the beautiful Daksum Valley, located in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.
